In this episode you will hear about Mouna Aouri's journey to entrepreneurship which began amidst personal struggles and the first Arab Spring. Fleeing with her new family and as a new mother, she found herself in an unfamiliar country, jobless and dependent on her spouse. Once there, she confronted a stark new reality: the loss of her professional independence and self-confidence. The shift from an autonomous career woman to a state of financial reliance stripped her of control over even basic life decisions. She soon realized that the struggle with financial independence and caregiving was a widespread issue among women, transcending cultural and social backgrounds. Driven by this insight and her own experiences, she launched "Woomentum". This initiative aimed to empower women entrepreneurs, drawing lessons from her journey in entrepreneurship.
